The children’s choir Poliot was founded in April 1964 in Zhukovsky, a small town in Moscow area.
The choir appeared in different areas of the ex-Soviet Union and from 1993 on started its international tours.
It has received prizes and won several times in brilliant international choral competitions in France, Italy, Spain, Finland, Bulgary, Hungary, Poland, Norway, Lettonia, China, Hong Kong and Germany.
The “Poliot” choir has gained a very high quality reputation as for extraordinary children’s voices, with a rich, varied and complex repertory.
As a result, the choir can sing classical music as well as contemporary, sacred, secular or folk music.
