Skanderborg Youth Choir consists of girls at the age of 10-15 years.
The choir has an old tradition to look back on, it was established in 1956.
The repertory of the choir is diverse.
The choir sing anything from Danish songs to classical works. As for the rhythmic line of the repertory there is jazz and popular music.
The choir is conducted by Alice Vestergaard, who graduated from the conservatory in Jutland, Denmark, in 1989.
The choir has also recorded four CDs and gives concerts both at home and abroad, as well as participate in world wide competitions, such as the World Choir Games and the European Choir Games. Here they have achieved several gold diplomas.
