In 2004, a group of singing-lovers of old-age, middle-age, and young-age formed “ Festival Novo Chorus “, Yun-Hung Chen, conductor of FNC, is an outstanding, and excellent professional choral conductor, who gains popular acclaim both at home and abroad due to her music scholastic attainment. She devotes herself to training the group with care and patience. Under her guidance, the potentials of the members have been constantly inspired.
Ever since FNC was founded, annual concerts have been held. FNC has not just actively attended large-scale concert performances, but joined with the performances abroad also, the past experiences as below:

Chen Yun-Hung, conductor
Chen Yun-Hung is an active conductor,Music Bachelor of Soochow University at Taiwan,Master degree of University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, lecturer and adjudicator of choral music. She is equally at home whether leading an avant-garde soundscape or a lyrical folksong.
Chen has led choirs to win many international titles and won the best conductor Prize in many international Choral Competitions as well. Chen’s lifelong mission is to foster choral music and education in Taiwan, and bring it to the world. To this end, she founded the Taiwan Choral Music Center (TCMC) in 2000 with a group of friends.
The Taipei Chamber Singers (TCS) in particular has become a major force of contemporary choral music under Chen’s artistic vision, Albums produced by the group have won Best Vocal Performance at the 21st Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music in 2012, as well as Best Album Producer and Best Interpretation of Conductor at the 26th Golden Melody Awards in 2015.
Chen is currently serving as CEO and artistic director of TCMC, artistic director of the Taipei Chamber Singers.
