Popkoor Estrellas

Popkoor Estrellas is a student pop choir from Groningen!
The Young Choristers offer a varied repertoire of artists such as, Imagine, Dragons, Adele and Queen, under the direction of their choirmaster Wilfred Reneman and pianist Mariateresa Gallicchio!
They particularly enjoy singing songs about power, self-esteem and inclusion.
The choir regularly performs at festivals and choir competitions in the Netherlands, especially the BALK TOPfestival, which takes place every two years and in which all the best pop choirs in the Netherlands compete for the grand prize.
They have performed for King Willem-Alexander and on national television in the programme “Spuiten en Slikken”.
In 2022, they participated in their first international festival in the city of Prague, which was a huge success.
They are delighted to resume their concerts abroad by touring Provence during the Festival Choral International de Provence.
