ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

 

Dates: December 8 to December 10 – 2023

Location: Provence, France

Created in 1995, the 27th International Choral Festival in Provence also takes place during the Christmas period.

Unique in its kind, this itinerant and local festival welcomes high quality French and foreign choirs for a tour of concerts throughout Provence.

With the objective of transmitting their passion for choral singing, in a communion of cultures and talents, the choirs go out to meet the public with very diverse musical styles.

The concerts take place in towns and villages, from the seaside of the Côte d’Azur in Marseille to the small villages of the Centre Var.

Beyond the concerts, you will discover our cities where culture and arts are omnipresent, and the perched villages that dominate the lavender fields as far as the eye can see.

You will also be able to stroll along the azure Mediterranean, enjoy the breathtaking view of the rows of olive trees and hike in the famous “Calanques de Marseille”, impressive and majestic rocky creeks.

In 2023, we offer 4 concerts in 4 cities. Unless otherwise stated, allowance is free for the audience. Our wish is to make known to the greatest number the choral art and to share musical emotions with a large public. We hope to see you there!

Each year we are welcoming choirs from France and around the world. They are selected by our artistic direction for their quality and diversity of repertoires.

    INSURANCES

    In this particularly complicated period, and with the aim to protect you, we have specially negotiated a comprehensive insurance package, notably to cover:

     

    • Cancellation insurance
    • Baggage insurance
    • Health or injury insurance
    • Early return insurance
    • Assistance in case of death
    • Travel assistance
    • Interruption of stay
    • Accident insurance

     

    + additional specific COVID19 insurance, Health Protection Extension:

     

    • Cancellation if positive for an epidemic or pandemic up to 30 days before departure
    • Cancellation if COVID19 contact case within 14 days prior to departure
    • Cancellation for denied boarding following a temperature measurement or the positive result of a PCR and / or antigen test at the departure airport
    • Cancellation in the event of absence of vaccination
    • Repatriation assistance

     

    This insurance package is optional, but we highly recommend it.
