Directed by Mrs France Lavasseur since 2003, the Chanterelle choir is a 4-part mixed choir. All the singers come from different backgrounds, employees, retired persons etc..
The repertoire is very varied, and is largely based on and composed of francophone songs. This repertoire and a high quality music performing have been appreciated everywhere the choir went to and brought the choir a huge success in every place we perform.
The vocation of the Chœur Chanterelle du Collège Laval is to contribute to the social and cultural life of the city of Laval and their main goal is to offer concerts and different activities to the inhabitants of our city. They organise one annual concert and two Christmas concerts. In addition to that, they are always keen to perform where they are being asked to and organise concerts upon specific requests. The choir participates in many different festivals in their region and its surroundings as well as in different Canadian provinces.
