Maîtrise de CRD
By creating its own choir school in 1992, in partnership with the French Ministry of Education, the city of Chartres has revived a tradition inherited from the Middle Ages.
Its highly diverse repertoire includes secular and sacred works from all periods.
Since its creation, the choir has been directed by Philippe Frémont. It is made up of children enrolled in special classes. It has sung in France and abroad (Portugal, England, Germany, Italy, Japan, etc.).
In 2005, it won first prize at the Verona International Competition.
