Skanderborg Girls Choir consists of girls at the age of 16-22 years.
The choir was established in 2001 by Alice Vestergaard.
The repertory of the choir is diverse.
The choir sing anything from Danish songs to classical works. As for the rhythmic line of the repertory there is jazz and popular music.
The choir is conducted by mother and daughter :
Alice Vestergaard, music teacher and choir conductor, graduated from the conservatory in Jutland, Denmark, in 1989.
Freja Nørager, rythmic singer and choir conductor, graduated from the conservatory in Jutland, Denmark, in 2021.
The choir has also recorded four CDs and gives concerts both at home and abroad, as well as participate in world wide competitions, such as the World Choir Games and the European Choir Games. Here they have achieved several gold diplomas.
